In the Year 1917, one
hundred years ago, this nation (America, remember it?) was caught in
a dilemma. The nation was being torn apart by the 'War in Europe',
which we were supplying with arms and ammunition and food (etc);
while trying to prance about in a self-deceiving Dance of Neutrality.
A most bloody and awful war, later to be called 'The Great War'
and/or 'World War I'.
Statistics: Counts failed,
fell behind, and broke down in years two and three of the Western
Front -- only estimates exist now.

Death Toll -- 9 to 17 million

Wounded -- up to 21 million
Nations
butchered like cattle -- France, Germany, Belgium, Austria-Hungary,
England, Italy, Ottoman Empire, Romania, Serbia, Russia
Our neutrality was proving
to be very profitable, as we were selling many more exports to Europe
than we had before. It was not enough, however, to the warring powers
in Europe. The 'Allies' wanted us in -- wanted our bodies -- wanted
our millions of gallons of blood -- to splash upon the shores of the
trench ramparts of Northern France.
To make it all look good,
righteous.
Germany was trying to
provoke Mexico into attacking America, and thus to preoccupy us with
a Continental War right here -- forcing us to forget about joining
the British and the French in Europe's War.
Sea battles rocked the
Atlantic and North Sea; battles that are today unknown and forgotten.
Uboats were born. As many as 5,000 merchants ships died to them.
Germany began unrestricted submarine warfare upon all non-German
shipping; hurting our economy; as we were up to our eyeballs in
supplying the 'Allied' nations already.
Inside of America, very
strong and large currents of dissent and outrage were rocking the
nation towards pacifism. Likewise, an equally strong movement was
growing towards War; claiming that America had a Righteous Duty and
Obligation to save Democracy from Imperialism.

Slowly, inexorably,
brutally, greedily, dangerously the factions for War began to turn
the government into a War Council. A very Pro-War Council. Once
achieved, the fate of America was sealed. However, America was in no
shape or condition or mood to enter a European War on the other side
of the Atlantic Ocean; even though the government now said it was
necessary.
Every step of the ugly and
miserable way down the rocky and pitted and swampy and slimy path of
the History of Governments, the key to controlling any nation of
People has always been to buy and threaten and confuse and blackmail
the Politicians (through their Masters of course).
The trick to getting any
nation of Idiots to do whatever you want them to do -- has always
been to keep the masses brainwashed into believing that the
Politicians are worth listening to -- while forcing the Politicians
to blither and blather to the masses that some thing (whatever) is

Robert Ryan narrates this
series, and most admirably.
These three episodes give
you an introduction to the scourge of Mass Propaganda, which was
begun during World War I and plagues our world to this day -- now
known as Queer Propaganda.
I would say that almost
all of the so-called 'Millennials' do not know who Robert Ryan was.
He was an actor. A real actor. Before HollyQueer happened. He was in
dozens of movies during his acting career, most hard to find now. One
does still exist in circulation, it is called 'The Battle of the
Bulge'. That is not a comedy title, there really was a 'Battle of the
Bulge' during World War II, and it was no joke at all. If you can get
to see that movie, Robert Ryan portrays the only American General in
the entire film. Look on YouTube to find other Robert Ryan movies.
The point is, he was serious about narration and he did a very good
job of it in the series 'World War I'.
George Creel was the man
named by Woodrow Wilson to head a pseudo-government agency of
propaganda; to force the American People to support the war, and to
force Americans to volunteer for duty in the slaughterhouses -- Over
There.
The Committee on Public
Information was Creel's invention. It grew to monstrous proportions,
and launched a tidal wave of Poster Propaganda against the American
People.
