During my journey on the Internet for this message, while I was looking for appropriate videos to link to about the threats of AI and the Horrids that make the stuff, I saw a video in which a commentator asked a question to a large group of teenagers in high school. The question was about how to do research. He asked when was the last time any of those teenagers had opened a book to do research about anything. They all laughed and shrugged their shoulders and said they could not remember having done so. Were they forbidden to use real books by the NEA????
Such a state of affairs is literally a disaster unless you consider the term 'books' to include .pdf files, which are copies of real books. But then again, how many people collect .pdf files? My archives have a directory that is strictly .pdf files. Pdf files are exact digital duplicates of written material, formatted to produce an onscreen experience that is identical to actually holding a book in your hands. However, there is also the ability to print almost all written material on the Internet as .pdf files.
For instance, YOU are looking for suggestions online about what you can do during your upcoming vacation to Grand Resort ABCD. Most grand resort hotels are situated in areas that offer a lot of interests and activities, so you will find a lot of suggestions. To keep a collection of those websites (and what they said you can do in and around Grand Resort ABCD) you can print each webpage as a .pdf file. When you go to print the page you will be given a choice of printers. In Blinders (formerly windows) you will be given a software option that will create a .pdf file on your drive, instead of actually printing to paper. Thus, an exact digital copy of the webpage will be created -- except -- the software does not work so well some times, and sometimes you only get part of the website. What do you expect from Blunders?
Getting back to books, the idea that no real books were used in their researches is a death sentence for all of us. It is one giant leap away from reality -- if and when -- the material was originally designed to be printed as a real book.
My writing is entirely different in that I never expect my works to be printed as real books.
True story. I recently went on a vacation to another state. I searched around for book shops while I was there. I was told that there is an old book shop across the river about ten miles away. I went there and found the book shop. The owner was shocked that a real and living person was in his book shop. To make a long story short I bought several boxes of books while I was there, which included an entire encyclopedia from 1949 -- as real books. I got them home and spent weeks repairing them and preserving them with special oils. The house stank of oils for days and days. I had a caterpillar fan at the front screen door pulling all of the air out of the house and sending it into the street, I had a back door open for this. That is how strong the smell was -- and -- I have to do it again this year to be sure the books will last a long time. The set is in very good shape and I can read every page.
Now, I have them on a shelf in my writing room. They no longer smell of oils. Because of that set of real encyclopedias and my collection of real books, at any time I can do something that none of those teenagers can dream of doing.
I can choose any of tens of thousands of topics and go to original sources of information about those topics ...

Those teenagers that were questioned about their research habits are permanently blinded to and bereft of any original (or legacy) sources of information as follows ...
*They never open real books.
*They only access what the Queered Internet offers as information.
*They can only read false information that is approved (for now) by the Deviates.
*They cannot gain access to the original truth about any topic.
*They are blinded by the digital age.
*They are never told that there are some places on the Internet that reprint original books -- real books. Often as .pdf files.

*Lies are the mantra of all digital false information.

I was working on a diagram while I was writing this message. It is a concept design for Human habitations on Class 'B' earth type planets. A design for the future. It is not the space tech futuristic stuff from NASA and commercial space companies. It is a design that anyone can make for safe living in tough environments.
I had it finished to the point where an architect would have to take over, which is where I leave most of my concepts. Then it occurred to me that this model could be used to help Ukraine rebuild its housing; its towns and city neighborhoods. So ... being done with it from my point of view I give it over to the People of Ukraine.
